Ingredients:
- Sweet corn (about a cup, I use frozen one, normal or the Peruvian chunkier sweet corn also works, don't worry if you haven't seen this)
- Chickpeas (about a cup and a bit)
- Lemon zest (one lemon)
- Paprika (1 tea spoon)
- Cumin (1 tea spoon)
- Merken or aji (to taste!)
- Pepper (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Flour (about 3 table spoons)
- Coriander (optional, we used a little, about an 8th of what you see in the image)
STEP 1: Boil chickpeas
STEP 2: Grate lemon skin
STEP 3: Put boiled chickpeas, sweet corn, spices, flour and lemon zest into food processor
STEP 4: Make burger patties (you can put the mix in the fridge to make it easier to stick together, as we use frozen corn, this is not necessary)
STEP 5: Fry
STEP 6: Enjoy!
