Santiago air (again, sorry...)

We could help but posting this quickly: Today Christian received a replacement filter for his bicycle mask (they have to be mail-ordered from abroad). We mentioned a few weeks ago that we started using them in our attempts to deal with the filthy air in this city (see our post in August).

He's been using it whenever cycling around town, more or less 30min to an hour most days of the week, since mid-August. Below photo shows the outside where the air enters and where the largest particles get stuck. It turned from virgin white (left) to filthy grey (right).  Peoples lungs here must be black...
